Chembe Ventures sponsors first ever BarcampAfrica UK

On November 7th, 2009, over 100 bloggers, technologists, innovators, entrepreneurs and other friends of Africa gathered at the Vodafone HQ in London for a day of discussion, debate and collaboration.

The day began with a keynote speech by Dr Ekwow Spio-Garbrah, CEO of the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation (CTO). Following this, representatives of five of the event sponsors, including Sean Murphy of Chembe Ventures, gave short talks introducing themselves and their companies.
